Al-Yemen is located in the South of Saudi Arabia
and is on the continent of Asia. Yemen is as big as France. The official name
of Yemen is Republic Yemen. This country
was founded in the year of 1990. May 22, 1990 to be exact. The climate is mostly desert, hot and humid.

99% of Yemen’s population is Muslim. Out of that
99%, 55% are Sunni and 45% are Shi’ites.
There are a small percentage of Christians, Jews and Hindus.

Culture of Yemen is Yemini and I don’t really
know what that means. Their popular food is Rice, potatoes, scrambled eggs and
Fahsa. Fahsa is a Yemini stew made of lamb. Yeminis hike a lot. Soccer is one
of the popular sports, but Yeminis ride camels a lot.
